the difference of Expression
1> What is the difference between 'clean up' and 'clean'? ?Everybody helped to clean up after the party ?Everybody helped to clean after the party
2>I think that "I can't stand losing you" means 'I don't like to lose you.. Is it right??
If 'can't stand' means 'not like', we use ing form of a verb (not 'to..') after 'can't stand'
so..I wanna know the meaning of 'I can't stand to be lonely'..I wonder if "I can't stand being lonely" is also right expression and is the same meaning as "I cant't stand to be lonely". I think that it might mean ' I don't like to be lonely'. What do you think??
<3> What does "Let me carry your bag for you" mean? Does 'carry' mean holding your bag or moving your bag to somewhere?
<4> The customs officer made Sally open her case.. here what does 'case' mean? Does it mean "suitcase' or "box"? If it means 'suitcase', you usually call 'suitcase' just 'case'??

You used ing form of the verb after can't stand...I studied like that..But searching internet, I found " I can't stand to be lonely..so I still wonder if it's grammatically correct..

It is certainly a much used colloquial form, and in my view can be regarded as a grammatical form.

Anyway, the one thing that doesn't seem to be addressed is "clean up."
Clean up means to tidy up, straighten the place up. You throw out the trash, collect the dishes left on the table, wash the dishes, rearrange the furniture back to its original position, etc. You can "clean up" a place without getting out cleaning supplies.
