The difference between "Home" and "House"

Hello to everyone!

Can I ask a favour? I am making the research and need some help. Could you guide me by writing a few words you assosiate with "House" and "Home"? For example: house - roof, windows, privacy etc.; home - candle, roof etc.

I would like to gather different perspectives of different people. You may write everything you want. I would really appreciate it.

s=house However, you may find that they are not very different. 'house' focuses on the building and the property surrounding it. 'home' focuses on the location as the base of family activities, and it need not be a house.

  • It can be an apartment, a townhouse, a condominium, or even a shack, but if you live there, it's your home.
  • 'home' can take on a sort of warm and cozy feeling that 'house' does not normally have.
