Orphaned
A child whose parents are dead.

If a child's parents die then that child is said to be "orphaned". Because parents are relations, someone who becomes "orphaned" is also technically "bereaved", but to me it seems unusual to use the word "bereaved" in such a case.
"bereaved" has more emotional connotations of loss than "orphaned" does.
Bereaved - describes very sad person in mourning for the loss of a dear friend or relative.
orphan - a child who has no living parents. There are special homes for orphans called orphanages.
