The pair of maps illustrate the various developments which have been made to the VUS island since 1995.

Generally, the VUS island has undergone a num
ber of major alterations in terms of accommodation and entertainment facilities. Meanwhile, the hotel and the coffee shop remain untouched.

Particularly, looking more closely at the present map, a lot of modifications can be observed. Firstly, the most striking alteration is the golf court and the tennis area were erected in the Northeast of the island which used to be a place for farming and a forest park. In addition, the two new houses were introduced and connected to the west branch of the main road which also have had one more house on the both sides. Moreover, there is the parking area which was added to the East of the hotel. What's more, the row of shops and the fish market was demolished so that the restaurants and the apartments could be built. With regard to final development, the fishing port which has been constructed at the Northern beach where is very close to the fish market.
