The diagrams below show changes in Felixstone in the UK between 1967 and 2001.

The two maps delineate the various developments which were made to Felixstone in Britain over a course of 34 years starting from 1967.

As can be seen from the diagrams, it is evident that the Felixstone underwent a number of major alterations in terms of facilities. Meanwhile, the golf course, the cafe, and the high street remain untouched.

Particularly, looking more closely at the map, a lot of modifications can be observed. Firstly, the most striking alteration is the facilities for sport and hotel which were constructed in the place where used to be a farmland. Additionally, in the Southwest, some of the dunes which were adjacent to the sea were converted into several wind turbines. Another noticeable change is that the fish market as well as the Southern marina and pier were torn down to make way for a private beach in the Southeast corner and an and adjacent smaller public beach. Moreover, an old hotel in the South of the Felixstone was renovated into a new bigger one and there was also a new parking lot which located next to that new hotel. As regards a final change, there were more shops erected on the Western side of the high street while the demolition of a row of Eastern shops results in the erection of some new apartments.
