The definite article

Dear all,

Please guide me whether the following are correct:

I am the teacher Antoine.
I like the pop star Elvis Prestely.
I love the singer Fairuz.

I used the definite article before a common noun followed by a proper noun. If they are not correct, please tell me the reason why.

If "I am the teacher" is intended as a statement that can stand by itself, with "Antoine" being additional information, then the first sentence could do with a comma: "I am the teacher, Antoine". However, if "Antoine" is essential identifying information -- e.g. you are distinguishing yourself from other teachers with different names -- then it's OK
