The Da Vinci code,the movie!

Hi guys, yesterday I saw the Da Vinci code, and I like to give you some impressions!

First of all,the film is good [Y],and I think Ron Howard did a nice job, even if the movie is not as supermegafantastic as the newspapers wrote. It follows the plot of the book, and there are not great changes, anyway, there are little "reality" mistakes, for instance: can a car be quick as a plane, and can a plane be driven as a car?!..it's strange!

Secondly, the action scenes are a bit weak,I mean impossible (why do they use a Smart for a car escape?! Emotion: hmm),the rest of them are beautiful (I fall in love with the last one);about photography and editing, they're not so good,a bit senseless. The music is great, instead!!

Finally,Tom Hanks is a good actor as usually, and Audrey Tatou played well, but the difference between them is clear as the water, and even the other actors did a good job (McKellen/Reno)!Make attention on Silas,he's scaring, relly scaring!! Emotion: indifferent

Personally I give "Emotion: starEmotion: starEmotion: starand a half /5 stars" to the movie, and I suggest you to go to the cinema and watch it! Emotion: wink

Regards Emotion: big smile

PS..it's only a movie,not true history,so watch it only as a film!

You're welcome Steven Mc! I have to say that I'm sorry because I haven't been so clear on writing my description... Emotion: embarrassed

Thanks Nyla! I think your description is very clear! Well...I'm going to watch it in a couple of hours and tomorrow I will say what I think about it; I liked the book very much and I think you're right: we have to read/watch it as a simple story, frankly I am so tired to listen all the controversies about this!!! See you tomorrow

Here again as I promised! I liked the movie, and as Nyla told there are some imprecisions but I guess it is due to the fact that it's hard to make a 2:30 hours movie on a such long full of details story...by the way I could tolerate this lack of precision. I liked all the actors, a very good cast. I liked the music, that is by Hans Zimmer (who composed Pearl Harbor OST). Last thing: maybe if I had

hey! nyla

your comment on the film impressed me a lot. i agree with you except for a few things.i love tom hanks, but for the hero he seems a little oldder. you know in the book the hero is a handsome young man. the media really gives too much boost to it.

I have seen the film. I want to say it is worth of seeig. But at first I felt puzzled by it because I could not understand what it expressed. After I saw the book I began to know and realised its shinning points. So my suggention is viewing the original book first. It will help you understand the film better.
