The correct US pronouncing of "ay" and "ai"

Hi friends,
We're expecting a baby girl in late July and already started brainstorming for the baby name. We love the name Kayla, but reading people's experiences online made us confused a bit. Some of them say that in US, the name's letters "ay" are pronounced like the word "kale", and our goal is to find out how to make it sound like the word pronouncation "sky", aka "ai". I've narrowed down to the written version of name "Kaila", but I still read here and there, a wrong pronunciation. Please, help us with this task. Thank you very much in advance.
Regards

Spell the name the way you wish to spell it. Pronounce it the way you wish to pronounce it. If people pronounce it in a different way, tell them the correct way - your way.
