Hi

Could you please tell me if the red part sounds natural to your native ears?

(Context: air conditioning on a bus)

We were sitting at the very end of the bus and the cool air was not reaching us.

or

We were sitting at the very back of the bus and the cool air was not reaching us.

"back" is clearer/better than "end", though "end" would probably be understood to mean the same. Otherwise these are all OK.
