The consumption of the world’s resources (oil and water...) is increasing at a dangerous rate. What are the causes and solutions?

The overusing of natural resources has become one of the most swelling issues that attract public attention these days. Although there will undoubtedly several negative consequences of this phenomenon, government and individuals can implement some approaches to mitigate these potential problems.

Apparently, there are several reasons for this mater. Firstly, due to the booming of population, the consumption of resources such as water also increases. On the ground that all the natural supplies are limited, it cannot meet the demand of human. This can be illustrated by the example that in America, one of the most populated nations, consumes a large amount of about 20 percent of the world’s resources. Secondly, it is the lack of users’ awareness that causes the natural sources being overused. Humans have the belief that the world’s energies are endless, therefore leads to the indiscriminate using of them.

However, a number of feasible approaches can be handled by both the authorities and citizens. First of all, what the government should do is to enact law to limit the number of newborn babies. For instance, in China, the most crowded nation in the world has given the law that each family can only has less than 2 kids, more is illegal and will be fined. Additionally, individuals should raise their awareness in using natural resources sparingly in order not causing those sources to be exhausted.

In conclusion, the above mentioned facts have outlined the causes of world’s energy being overused as well as some possible solutions. In the future, unless the government and human take actions to tackle this issue, these resources will soon be used up.
