The conjunctive adverb or conjunctive adverbs

Hi. Is it correct to use a general term (I think it can be called that) like "the conjunctive adverb" and "the teacher" instead of "conjunctive adverbs" and "teachers" respectively in the following contexts? Sorry for not giving you complete example sentences. Thank you for your help in advance.
