Darkness surrounds us
our minds wander free
Off to a place of love and joy
green meadows and green trees
Outside the sounds of violence and pleasure is heard
We sit and we think
for soon it’ll be our turn
Light drizzling rain
We dance and we play
Take full advantage of what joy we can
I hear the Thunderstorm is on it’s way
Looking past the keyhole
remembering our fate
To a world of fantasy we know so well
Mind and soul tucked away
Ready or not the game is just begun
An empty closet now awaits....
