the climate/the season

The towering giraffes, the majestic elephants, and the king lions are beginning to mirgate as the climate/the season is beginnig to change. Some are for mating. Other are for food. The rest are for survival. They all follow the circle trek, which is about 700 miles, somewhere in Africa. People call it the cricle of life.

Are they correct?

Why is "my another" not correct?

I have consulted my grammar book but I have no luck.

English construction does not permit both a possessive adjective (my, your, John's) and an article (a, an, the) as simultaneous modifiers. (Another = 'an other'.)
