The chart gives information about the percentages of energy which was renewed in total energy supply in Australia, Sweden, Iceland and Turkey between 1997 and 2010.Overall, in all four countries, the proportion of renewable energy in the supply in Iceland was by far the highest during the period, while the figure for it in Turkey experienced the most considerable change.In 1997, the proportion of renewable energy in Iceland was the highest, at 46 percent, while the quantity of it in Sweden was sligtly lower, at 38 percent. In the same year, Sweden and Australia renewed 6 percent and 9 percent respectively.The percentage of sustainable power in total energy supply in Iceland in 2010 increased dramatically to 70 percent and remained the highest figure in the chart. By contrast, there was a considerable decrease in the proportion of it in Turkey, about 33 percent. The quantity of sustainable energy in Sweden rose slightly to about 9 percent, while the figure for Australia declined gradually to 5 percent.
