Overall, there was a rise in the proportion of people having driving licenses. In 30 years, the number of women who passed their driving test outnumbered than that of men who passed their driving test.
Particularly, in 1980, at around 50%, the percentage of women passing their driving test were twice as much as that of men who had their driving lisence. The proportion of women who passed their driving test increased and reached a peak of 68% in the next 20 years.However, there was a drop of 5% the proportion of women who passed their driving test.
In addition, the number of men passed their driving test increased significantly of 10% in 10 years, from 28% to 38%. Moreover, between 2000 and 2010, there was not a change in the percentage of men passing their driving test, at over 50%.
