As can be seen from the chart, women, succeeding in driving test, had a far higher percentage than men did. Additionally, the figure for Asian people of two genders taking driving tests increased every decade, except in 2010.
It is noticeable that in the year 1980, the proportion of females who passed the test of driving, nearly doubled that of males, at 49% and 27% respectively. The ratios for Asians completing the driving test in 1990 were at 52% for women and 38% for men.
Turning to the two remaining years, in 2000, there was a significant increase in the percentage of females who learned to pass the driving test, at approximately 70%, compared to that of the opposite sex, at 49%. However, in the next decade, the figure of Asians who could succeed in the test witnessed a slight decrease in women gender at 65%, while the rate of those who passed the driving remained the same.
