The chart shows the percentage of whole world population in four country from 1950 to 2000, with projections till 2050

The bar chart gives information the change population in India, China, USA, Japan from 1950 to 2000 and it also reveals projections for 2050. The total population in China between 1950 and 2000 was higher than others at the same time.

In 1950, China receives the highest population with little over a quarter which compares other countries and in comparison with most years from 1950 to 2000. In 2000, it decreased to nearly a quarter and the number is going to keep falling as far as projections in 2050.

India showed an opposing trend to China. In 1950 India's population was the lowest with just 15% and was also lower than China's one at that time. The percentage moderately increased, which accounts for under a fifth but it's still less than that in China in 2020. Following the projections, India's population continued to go up and it's going to reach 20% in 2050.

Other countries were Japan and USA which have the same trend. Both countries have the highest in 1950 with the USA (10%) and Japan (5%). In 2000, two countries have a slight decrease but there ís a little change in 2050 follows to projections. At that time, USA's population remains the same percentage which constitutes under one in ten, whereas Japan's population fell by just four in ten. Overall, most countries have an upward trend except India in the period of given years.
