The clustered bar chart compares the time (hours) that tourists to Greece from four countries (The US, China, Turkey and Brazil) spent on each of three activities (sightseeing, reading books and going to the beach) per day in August 2019.

Overall, visitors from all these countries spent a total of 12 hours each day on these activities, and participated in all of them. However, reading books was the primary choice of the Chinese and Americans whereas the other two groups preferred beach activities. Sightseeing ranked in third place for everyone.

In detail, the Chinese allocated two-thirds of their leisure time to reading books, and Brazilians spent half of their time, more than any of the other groups, at the beach. In contrast, people from America and Turkey did not show such a concentration on one single activity. They used three hours per day for sightseeing and five hours on their favorite activity, which was beach-going and reading books, respectively. The Chinese and Brazilians did very little sightseeing, only one and two hours daily for each group.
