The bar chart illustrates the proportion of the probe about purchasing coffee, tea, as well as the favorite in drinking in five different Australian cities.

Generally, the percentage of citizens who went to a cafe for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks is almost higher than two remains.

Particularly, the proportion of those who had some coffee or tea in a cafe in Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart are all higher than 60% with the highest is in Melbourne (67%) while that in Adelaide is the lowest, with just under 50%, and eventually lower than the data of residents who bought instant coffee in the same time. What’s more, in Brisbane, the number of people going a cafe in last 4 weeks accounts for approximately 56%.

The first option is to buy fresh coffee. Sydney inhabitants who bought that kind of drinks make up about 44% whereas that for Melbourne and Hobart people account for 43% and 38% respectively. Additionally, Brisbane has 34% of citizens and has almost the same amount as Adelaide which is 34.5% of those who bought fresh coffee in last 4 weeks.

Secondly, in terms of instant coffee, the data of all 5 Australian cities are higher than 45%. Particularly, the highest number is 54% of Hobart whereas Brisbane has a quite similar amount, at 53%. Meanwhile, the data of Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney are also significant, at 50, 48, and 46 percent respectively.
