The chart below shows information about subway systems in three major European cities.

The table compares three features relating to the size of three subway systems in London, Paris and Moscow. These features use different measures: length of total track, number of stations in operation and figures of commuters.

Overall, each subway systems has their own strength holding in different areas. London Underground is the longest subway, Paris Metro takes the lead in terms of number of stations in operation and Moscow Metro is the most crowded system.

In detail, London Underground has a total track length of 408 kilometers, while Moscow Metro comes second in line with 300 kilometers and Paris Metro is the shortest one which is characterized by 214 kilometers of track.

On the contrary, Paris has the most number of stations in operation with 300 stations, followed by London Underground with 275 stations and Moscow Metro with only 182 stations is the last one. Moscow Metro, on the other hand, is the most crowded one with 6.5 million daily passengers. Even though Paris metro has the shortest metro network among the two others, it comes second with 4.5 million commuters. London Underground has only about half as many daily passengers as Moscow Metro with only 3 million commuters.
