As can be seen from the chart, Americans like eating fast food in stores once a week accounted for the highest percentage in 2006 and 2003 with over 30%. After that, the figures of USA people eating fast food once or twice a month witnessed a slightly downward trend in 2003 and 2006, which made up 18% around, but in 2013, it reached the peak at nearly 32%.
The proportion of people who had meals at fast food restaurants several times fluctuated from 16 to 20% over the period shown, and these percentages were higher than the figures of Americans eating a few times a year. Daily eaters and those who had never eaten in fast food establishments before accounted for very small percentages, ranging from just 3% to 5%.
