(3)They are forecasted to change in popularity in 2050 as the working age interval may account for the biggest segment of almost 60 per cent. (4)The 0-14 age bracket shall witness a substantial shrinkage to less than 40 per cent, opposed to the over-60 community which is anticipated to mildly swell up from about 4 per cent to nearly 6 per cent.
(5) From 2000 to 2050, the two descending groups in Italy's community will be the children and the working age, with proportions from about 14 per cent to over 11 per cent and from roughly 60 per cent to almost 50 per cent respectively. (6)Standing at number two in popularity during the period, the elderly made up the remaining quarter of the chart in 2000 and is envisaged to 42.3 per cent in the future.
(7) To summarise, both Yemen’s population and Italy’s are likely to see an increment in the old and a decline in the young. (8)However, Italy’s society is predicted to continue being older than Yemen's.
