I read that book back in elementary school, I wept so much when I read of Timothy's death. After both he and his mother attempted to escape from the island of Curacao to return back to Virginia Peter became blind after the shipwreck. As a result he is stranded with Timothy and a cat. It's a very heartfelt book indeed. Great reccomendation!

i thought it was phillip but oh well. the cay is the best book i have ever read. my fav bit was when timothy built a jumbi to stop evil spirts and the devil. to all who are reading this is the best book to read ever go and buy it now!!!

i like this book alot !!!!! i think it is a nice book . i read it in high schoopl when i was in y8. the book is about a boy called phillip and an old balk man called timothy . i am sat in an english lesson writing this review .i loved the buk LOL charlotte b [H]
