While the cause of death has not yet been revealed, one can only wonder whether it was drug-related.

Hi, Both versions are common.. In a context where we clearly know we are talking about 'Houston', it seems unnecessary to repeat the name. Clive

Both versions are common..
In a context where we clearly know we are talking about 'Houston', it seems unnecessary to repeat the name.

It's a matter of style.
If you prefer to mention the name of the person involved several times, it's your decision.
Even though the title of the article is "Pop Vocal Legend Whitney Houston Found Dead", and it is quite clear that the death being written about is Houston's, it's your choice if you wish to drill it into your reader's brain.
