I don't see how a wick's largeness or strength can be a predictor of long candle life. In fact, a large wick would present more fuel to the flame and shorten the candle's life, and I don't see how a strong wick would look different from a weak one, whatever strength in a wick is. To mention that the candle's position was precarious is otiose, especially with an adverb, if you don't use the fac
