The Canadian/Austrlian/British way of spelling?

What's that type of spelling called? With all the extra "U"s in words like "favorite" and "color"?

THANKS IN ADVANCE:)

Mister Micawberjust 'British (variant) spelling'.
That's my question actually:)
I look forward to seeing a term to refer to all three because they do share the same spelling from what I've seen.
