2, The bomb landed near the building

Does #2 mean 'the bomb was not exploded'?

When I hear these sentences, here's what I think they mean. The bomb was exploded. = Somebody caused an unexploded bomb to explode -- at a safe distance in a safe place -- so that it would no longer be dangerous.

The bomb was exploded. = Somebody caused an unexploded bomb to explode -- at a safe distance in a safe place -- so that it would no longer be dangerous.

The bomb exploded. = The bomb made a big bang and caused a lot of damage. It 'went off'.

The bomb landed near the building. = The bomb exploded n
