The blind/ the blinds

Hi teachers!


I have two questions today. Please check the sentences below and let me know which words are proper to the sentences.


1. She always raised the blinds / the blind on getting there. ( I think the blind is correct since blind is an adjective here )


2. She had her shoes shine/ shining / shined / shone. ( I think shined is correct but I am not sure )
