I don't understand the funny part of Raj's response below? Can someone explain it please? Thank you.

I'm a native English speaker in the US, and this is the first time I've heard about this show - I've never seen a second of it. But based on the given dialog and reviews of the show on the internet, it appears that the only humor in this is in the character of Raj himself.
