The best way to solve the world’s environmental problems is to increase the fuel cost. Do you agree or disagree?

Many believe that the optimal solution to address issues relating to the global environment is increase the price of petrol. In my opinion, although increase fuel cost is a good way to deal with the world's environmental problems, I disagree that it is the most effective solution and there are other ways to solve this issue.

On the one hand, increasing the gas price bring about great benefits. First of all, it will minimizing environmental pollution. Apparently, the increase in the petrol price can help reduce the number of private vehicles. As a result, the amount of CO2 released into the environment will be lessened so that people can avoid air pollution.Secondly, the rise of fuel cost can lead to people use energies in a more careful and ecconomical way.Hence,a smaller amount of natural resources such as fossil fuel will be exploited.

On the other hand, it should not be considered as the best way to deal with global environmental issues and there are better solution to this problems. First and foremost, the increase of gas price can exert negative impacts on people's life.This can influence the cost of other staples as these necessities cover transportation cost. It also affect the living standard of citizens since they can afford for the fuel cost. Secondly, there are many ways to solve this issue.For example, goverment should encourage people to use environmentally-friendly vehicles by improving the quality of mass transit.

In conlcusion, increasing the price of petrol is an effective but not the best way to address the world's environmental problems and there are better solutions to this issue.
