"the" before names

Hello
I am not native speaker and I cannot understand when we use "the" before some names ?
I saw the movie "zodiac" and when they indicate the name "zodiac" of the serial killer they say: THE zodiac
at one point I remember that I heard: Is the Zodiac a Satanist?
and why we say: Is Arnold Schwarzenegger Austrian ?
is Kim Kardashian married ? without "THE"
If I want to say: THE zodiac is dead (I mean the serial killer) is it correct ?

We use "the" before names in three situations 1. The person is unique and very famous and we are stressing that point: "The Donald " 2. To poke fun at someone, as if they are very famous, when they are not.

the Zodiac is just a short form of the Zodiac killer. 'the' goes with the implicit 'killer', not with 'Zodiac', which is not anybody's name, by the way. Is the Zodiac (killer) a Satanist?
