The average import price
The average import price of 41 imported electric irons stood at 36,600 won.
1) But their average retail price was higher than 84,000 won.
2) But their average retail price was more than 84,000 won.
Please tell me which is correct, or more correct, as the case may be. I maintain that number 2 is correct, grammatically and otherwise, but my friend says that number 1 is correct.
If possible, please write a brief explanation as to WHY it is correct.
