I have to correct this sentence:

At this moment the weather is putting more cold because it started the autumn.

Is my answer correct?

At the moment the weather is colder because the autumn has just started/begun.

I'd say it this way - At this moment (I'd say 'right now') the weather is becoming colder because autumn has begun.
