The article/for this technique

Hi

From a book about meditation:

Just stop every so often just to pay attention to inhaling and exhaling. When you are being mindful of your breathing it is good practice to notice what your body is doing with each breath.

--- Shouldn't it be "it is a good practice"? I think there is the "a" missing after "it is".

For more of a natural use for this technique try and focus on your breath during your daily routine from time to time.

---- Is everything fine with the bolded part? Maybe it should be "of this technique" instead of "for this technique"?

for the first sentence, i can assure you that it doesn't need an "a". It is good+ something is an expression that I see everywhere in articles, book and hear on tv, so, don't bother with with. it is correct
