The analyses of the text.

He charge me and I seized his lance and pushed its point into the ground, so unhorsing him. I drew him a smile beneath his chin with his own dagger, and thus obtained me mounting and weapons.
["The Guns at Avlon" of The Great Book of Amber by Roger Zelazny]
I was wondering if I can use "so" to connect a clause and a participle phrase as in my example, and why "me" is used, not "myself" after "obtained."
Thank you in advance for yourself.

I'd say that Zelazny is deliberately writing his story in a faux-archaic style of English.
