The analyses of a clause.

The following is the part of a comic and reviewer said the finish is so bad.

However, when I look back over the series, I'm reminded of how much I enjoyed it, and really--there were so, so many parts that I loved very, very much that in retrospect, it would be a shame to judge a series such as this based only on 1/10 or so of it that I did not enjoy.

I'd like to know why "such" is positioned after "a series", not before it.
And I'd like to know if "that I did not enjoy" modifies "1/10 or so of it."
And I'd like to know if "based only on 1/10 or so of it that I did not enjoy" is a participle phrase indicating a method.
Thank you in advance for your help.
