I read the following sentence in a letter. I am not sure if it is correct. Please suggest a few variations.



The aim in telling this to you is for you to not have the same voids and misses in your life that I have.

Thanks. Is the original sentence natural? I like its first part, but not sure about the 'for you to' phrase.

It's a little wordy, but it works.

"Myaim" might be more appropriate. Emotion: smile

Also, you may mean "that I have
