#1 The actor said to the villain “If I were you, I would not care for such a massive adventure”.
(A) The actor told the villain that if he were he, he would not care for such a massive adventure.
(B) The actor advised the villain not to care for such a massive adventure.
Answer A is given in book. But there is two "he" in sentence. So for third person its hard to find which "he" is talking about whom. For me B seems correct.
#2 The lady said to the man, "Please lend me your pen".
(A) The lady told the man politely to lend her his pen. (Books answer)
(B) The lady politely told the man to lend her his pen.
Which one is correct? Although there can be better version of this question but its exercise so have to choose b/w them.
Thank you
