The activity is like a magnet. Even the lone lioness ....

Hi

Could you please see the following link and tell me what he says after:

The activity is like a magnet. Even the lone lioness __________________?

But these may be waters too much even for a __________________ female.

The lioness makes the decision to swim for it. (Does it mean "for the buffalo"?)

Making for the river bank before the crocodile, she knows ______________surface, she leaves the buffalo carter??? to its own devices, the more vulnerable bait.

Could you please explain the last hightlighted line to me?

Many thanks,

Tom

Tom:
It is hard to understand the voice over. I listened several times, and it's just not clear enought to decipher.

Even the lone lioness hazards the depths to get to the (something)

... too much even for a (perhaps the lion's location is said here - Psorro?) female

Swim for it - means to escape - swim for the river bank, as fast as possible.
