The abundance of food is truly something to be thankful for.

The plenty of food is truly something to be thankful for.

We should be thankful for the abundance/plenty of food.



Do all of the above sound right and mean about the same? Thanks.

abundance: more modern plenty: sounds biblical, older, at least to me I'd write the first in a newspaper, and the 2nd if I were a preacher
