Hi,
when talking about the decade between 1970 and 1980 which one do you think is the better way to put it:
a./ the 70ies
b./ the 70es
c./ the '70ies
d./ the '70es
e./ ...

Sorry, those are all wrong, Jani. This is correct: the 70s . These are also in use: the 70's / '70s / '70's.

If you wish to write it out, however, use "the seventies."
