Do I need to put "the" in front of "experts" and "RSM (rule space methodology)?
Tatsuoka (1995) has developed the Rule Space method (RSM). RSM is a statistical tool for testing the hypotheses generated by domain experts. RSM helps the experts to judge the quality of hypothesized attributes from a statistical point of view. In addition, RSM can enable the experts to find new attributes the experts never thought of as important to explain the basic test performance.

eunkum Do I need to put "the" in front of "experts" and "RSM (rule space methodology)? The passage you quoted uses "the" appropriately assuming the experts you are referring to throughout are the "domain experts" you mentioned at the end of the second sentence. Once you show that the abbreviation RSM stands for the Rule Space Methodology, you don't need "the" anymore, so it's OK to write just "RSM" as you have done.
