Hello Emotion: smile
I have two questions about the use of the definite article.

I am describing lessons with my teacher (a lot of lessons forming a one-year course). I have described the materials used, etc. and at the end of my paper I am saying:

Vocabulary during (the) lessons was suited to my needs.
(The) Communication during (the) lessons was perfect.

Should I use 'the'?

I am describing students I have taught (a lot of learners), using the words 'pupils', 'learners' and 'students' interchangeably. If I have already mentioned the students, should I say:

'I enjoyed everyday contact with the pupils'.
(I think it's correct this way)

Thank you for your help Emotion: smile
