hi,

i sometimes see somewhere that sentence "the accident happened that i was walking on the pavement." but i don't use that i usually use when like this sentences. by the way is it right to use that like this sentences. Or how should i use that in any sentences

Are you sure you heard it correctly?
You can say, "What happened was that I was walking on the pavement, and an accident occurred."
Maybe something like that is what you heard?

maybe it can be as you say CJ. I don't remember exactly. but i don't know how i should use that. where and when?
