That's what happened, isn't it?

A: I got divorced three months ago.

Later in the conversation...

B: Why did she leave you? 'Cause that's what happened, isn't it?

A: Yes. She found someone else.

Is the bold-face sentence perfect as is to refer to something that happened three months back or would you change it? I feel that it should end with "wasn't it? somehow", but I've been told that that would be incorrect.
