That's us or we?

When the complement are pronouns as below sentences, which the pronouns are correct after the verbs?

-That is we/ us.

-Our target clients are they/ them.

-The nominated one became he/ him.

Also when the pronouns are in the cleft sentences as below, should they be in object or subject form? And which verb decides them to be the form?

-It is not the real I/ me that I used to be.

-It is he/ him that I want to become.

-It is we/ us that you love.

-It is they/ them that you saw yesterday.

-It is she/ her that always took care of you.

In the cleft examples I would say the same. In the south of England, amongst older people, you might hear the subject form:

- It was they who caused the problem

And since I have seen some discuss that:

(This is I who am speaking) is correct. Whereas, (This is me who am speaking) is wrong.

I am wandering that if "it is the real me that I used to be" is correct. Why would "This is me who am speaking" be wrong?
Or they are both ok to be said?
