That's the guy

A: One of the terrorists just contacted us. He said his name was Sam.

B: That's him! That's the guy I talked to.


I have a feeling that "the guy" would seem a bit too informal for this context, what would be the best alternative?

"That's the one I talked to."?

Saying "That's him I talked to." wouldn't be natural, right?

...Or will "the guy" just be the most natural anyway?
