Hi, there. I have heard this phrase many times before, please tell me if it is used correctly in the following conversation:

What happened between you two?

She didn't love me, I guess. So she found someone else. That's pretty much it.

"That's pretty much it." is grammatical, but too abrupt-sounding. It needs more words, something like the following, for example:


"She didn't love...someone else. That's pretty much the gist of it."
