That's not fair

Hi everyone,

In the following dialogue, what do you think the meaning of the words in red "that's not fair"?

And what relation is between the phrase and the next sentence?

It might be tricky to explain but still if you could just a little bit, would you comment some for me?

Thanks a lot~

----------------

(Dialogue between a woman and a man)

A: You know how much I would like to stay but I can't.

B: I know. You are married to your job.

A: Now that's not fair. You know I joined my company for life when I graduated University.

B: I know. We have been through this so many times already. I'm just so lonely without you.

My guesses for "that's not fair" are: That's nonsense. / That's not true. / You can't say that.
