That's About the Last Thing.

A: They are morons.
B: What? What did you say?
A: What would you call them then?
B: That's about the last thing.
A: How about phonies?

What does "That's about the last thing" mean? I take it to mean "I don't want us to talk about it." Am I about right?

I think it means that 'morons is the last thing I would call them' - in other words morons is not the right word for them with extra emphasis on how wrong it is.
